Nuovi
materiali per le membrane. Smorzamento con neoprene. Uso della modellazione al
computer nella ricerca e nel controllo qualità. Collaudi digitali con tolleranze
senza precedenti. Metodi globali di progettazione dei sistemi. Tecniche di rete
a carico coniugato.
modello207.
The cutting edge
of loudspeaker design When we gave our engineers free rein to create a
fitting showcase for our technology leadership, they developed a revolutionary
prototype that looked and performed like no other: Concept Blade, the world's
first single apparent source loudspeaker. Its phenomenal sonic capabilities met
with such praise that we decided to produce an edition that serious audiophiles
could actually own. After two years of painstaking refinement - and in time to
mark 50 years of KEF innovation - Blade is the result. Introduction Single
apparent source Uni-Q Bass Design & Designers Conceived from the outset to
extend the boundaries of high end audio, it’s a unique synthesis of innovative
engineering and groundbreaking design based on a new architecture that achieves
the ideal point source to which all speakers aspire. This is because the four
sophisticated new bass drivers are configured so that their combined acoustic
centre occupies exactly the same point in space as that of the Uni-Q HF/MF array,
so the sound appears to emanate from a single, flawlessly coherent
source.Sculptural and acoustically inert, the slender parabolic enclosures are
engineered never to interfere with the purity of the output. The advanced new
hybrid cones are so light and rigid that their natural break-up point is never
reached within the required frequency range. Inside, you find ingenious new
venting, bracing and wave management technologies. Meticulously specified,
super-premium components - every one operating so comfortably within its
performance envelope that you experience noticeably more precise imaging than is
possible with conventional speakers. What you hear sounds as if it’s live -
emotionally engaging, richly musical and effortlessly natural. A revelation,
pure and simple.Model Blade

The new KEF C Series has been
engineered to uphold the company’s long-held tradition of making speakers that
provide the most accurate response possible at the price point. This aim gives
the listener the satisfaction of hearing a recording with almost studio or
concert-hall clarity and precision. In the case of the KEF C Series, this
performance is normally associated with speakers of a much higher price.

Kef
Q300 Speakers (pair) The Q300 is part of a brand new range of Q Series Speakers
from Kef and the next desirable model up form the Kef Q100. This all-new Kef
Q300 Bookshelf is larger than the Q100 bookshelf sibling and has a wider sound
stage with more depth. The Q300 uses technologies developed in the £140,000 Kef
Muons, ground breaking Kef’s Concept Blade Speakers and what is widely regarded
as industry standard speaker the Kef Reference Speaker. Therefore, you can tell
the new Kef Q300 bookshelf has a real pedigree. With a complete blank canvass,
Kef has redesigned the whole Uni-Q concept. They have created a completely new
Kef Uni-Q Driver. This sonically and musically pushes the Uni-Q concept to
another level of audio excellence. It also shows what Kef has learned from their
leading flagship and concept speakers. Dividing the Uni-Q driver into to key
areas, the all-new 25mm vented aluminium dome HF tweeter is located at the heart
of the Uni-Q driver. This 25mm tweeter has a much larger dome capacity, enabling
the Kef Q300 Speaker to produce a smooth, musical, waves guide, which is in
perfectly harmony to the main Uni-Q Driver. This is something that Kef has
stated they have never been able to achieve with the iQ series. The Kef Q300
Bookshelf Speakers is beautifully crafted bookshelf speaker, using a bespoke,
modern design, quite new from Kef and really, refreshing to see. Another reason
for the bespoke look is the technological advances with the Kef Q300 as there is
now 30% more volume, thus more musical ability for you to enjoy! The Kef Q100
Bookshelf speakers are something to hear. With 30% extra volume and the all-new
Uni-Q driver. It shows that the hard work that Kef has put into developing the
Kef Q Series Speakers really shines through. Kef has always excelled with the
vocals. It is a testimony to their Uni-Q technology. The new Q Series is
something else though. Not only are the sweet vocal, clean and controlled, they
is no distortions and more importantly no flats within the vocal range, the
sound blends seamlessly and delivers a sound that is only found on more
prestigious speakers. Now the Kef Q300 is the largest bookshelf speaker fromthe
new range of Kef Q Series speakers. Kef’s Q300 is a perfectly formed, small
standmount speaker which punches far above it’s physical dimensions. Musically
speakers this small should not deliver this amount of Sonics and rhythmic bite
as they do. It also shows the amount of hard work kef has carried out in
redefining the Q300’s Uni-Q drivers with advanced engineering models and sound
auditioning.
Kef
Q500 Floorstanding Speakers There are three full-size new Q floorstanders to
choose from, each sharing the same audiophile-grade technology in the same basic
configuration: a new generation Uni-Q MF/HF array paired with a long-throw bass
driver of equal size, and two matching ABRs. The difference is the size of the
drivers: 130mm (5.25in.) diameter in the Q500, 165mm (6.5in.) in the
intermediate Q700 and a class-beating 200mm (8in.) in the flagship of the range,
the magisterial Q900. As front speakers in a home theatre system, these
effortlessly assertive performers are capable of flooding the room with an
intricate and intensely physical soundstage. As a viewer, you notice the
striking clarity of the vocals and fluidly articulate midrange response. With
massive bass extension heightening the drama and flawless 3-D imaging that
faithfully tracks the action on screen, the illusion of being there is
phenomenal. All you have to do is decide which model is best for you, bearing in
mind the size of the space and your personal listening preferences.
Kef
Q700 Floorstanding Speakers These speakers are now available for demonstration
as a Stereo Pair and also as a 5.1 Surround sound system Kef Q700 Floorstanding
Speakers The outstanding new Q700 from Kef takes a large number of new and
innovative technology from the Kef Concept Blade Speakers but at a fraction of
the cost. It is through Kef's dynamic strength as a global powerhouse in audio
and components that they are able to deliver these speakers with outstanding
base extension at such an affordable price. Thanks to the latest computer
modelling techniques, years of painstaking development and a dash of design
genius, the new iteration of the Uni-Q concept packs a formidable complement of
design innovations. Based on the state-of-the-art HF driver developed for
Concept Blade, the new Q boasts a much larger (25mm/1 in. dome) tweeter for
increased sensitivity and distortion-free power handling. It plays as loud as it
plays true. The vented tweeter design allows upper registers to be reproduced
with startling clarity and smoothes the transition to midrange frequencies. The
dome assembly is cleverly braced, pushing the first breakup beyond the audible
range so that the sound you hear is flawlessly accurate. And to make sure
everyone in the room enjoys the benefit, KEF’s distinctive ‘tangerine’ waveguide
over the dome maximises Uni-Q’s exceptionally wide dispersion characteristics.
At lower frequencies, the superlight new aluminium cone of the LF/MF drive unit
delivers noticeably faster, cleaner response. This is enhanced by KEF’s unique
Z-flex surround, which allows the extreme excursions needed to deliver a truly
visceral thump while also maintaining a seamlessly smooth surface to disperse
the high frequencies from the tweeter. The ensemble is a masterpiece of modern
acoustic engineering. Vocals suddenly seem much more immediate – more open and
natural. Surrounded by sound of such clarity, you start hearing things you never
did before. Nuances in the way an instrument’s played. The sound of a distant
cricket in an outside scene. A breath, even. And best of all, you don’t have to
be in a little ‘sweet spot’ to experience it. With KEF Uni-Q, you can sit where
you want and not miss a thing. All you hear is what the artist intended.

Taste
in music and movies is a very personal thing. Same with speakers. For some people, the
usual plain box will do; a speaker's a speaker. Others want to
experience something more special. More cutting edge. More rewarding.
And that's who our new XQ Series has been created for.By
combining patented technologies from two of our most acclaimed ranges -
the radical new Q Series and the legendary Reference Series - the XQ
concept gives you the best of both worlds: new KEF Uni-Q® 'point source'
arrays for unrivalled off-axis performance, and Reference Series 'super
audio' HypertweetersTM for the full bandwidth response required to enjoy
digital formats like SACD and DVD-A. Together with ultra-low distortion
bass and audiophile grade internal components, it's a combination you
simply can't find anywhere else at the price.Admittedly, the finish is a
bit of an extravagance. You can specify your XQ system in either a cool,
pale maple veneer or one of four high gloss lacquer finishes: Silver and
Graphite metallic (to complement AV equipment) or Maranello Red. The
aluminium front baffles are anodised in Silver. But hey - when the
technology inside creates such beautiful sound, they deserve to look
special.

Come
banda estesa come SACD e DVD Audio contengono segnali fino a 40kHz e oltre.
Accuratamente
controllati e saldati a mano, i cavi in rame privo di ossigeno KEF assicurano
convenzionali. L'estensione dei bassi è ugualmente sorprendente, grazie a
sistemi di motori a bobina corta/gap lungo a bassissima distorsione e a membrane
high-tech rinforzate.
Montati in alloggiamenti in
The
continuing evolution of KEF's legendary Reference Series has always been
based on the concept of benchmark precision. Every time a new generation
of models is developed to incorporate more sophisticated technologies,
we build prototypes that are as close to perfection as possible. These
then become the ‘Reference’ to which every single production version
must conform, each set assembled by a skilled craftsman who matches
their performance to a tolerance of just 0.5dB. As the latest
incarnation of this approach, the Reference Series is a quantum leap
forward in audiophile quality sound. In fact, its performance envelope
extends well beyond the range of human hearing. This is not as futile as
it may at first sound - whereas conventional CD's carry no audio
information beyond 20kHz, extended bandwidth formats such as SACD and
DVD Audio contains signals up to 40kHz and more. Consider the analogy
that even though no-one drives at 200 mph, cars that are engineered to
do so are inherently better performers at lower speeds That's why all
new Reference Series models come with a state-of-the-art 19mm titanium
dome Hypertweeter™ for massively extended HF performance. Mounted in low
diffraction, chrome-plated steel enclosures time aligned with the main
array, they deliver flat response to 50kHz and useful energy up to
70kHz. What you hear is a sweeter, more natural sound
With only frequencies above 400Hz
to handle, movement of the UNI-Q ® cone is so modest that
virtually no distortion is caused by intermodulation with the
tweeter. Like the bass drivers, an open chassis design - fully
decoupled - minimises acoustic reflection behind the cone. The
result is an even more spacious, better defined sound stage over
a very large area, with exceptional off-axis response and none
of the ‘sweet spot’ limitations of conventional speakers. Bass
extention is equally stunning, thanks to ultra-low distortion
motor systems and high tech reinforced diaphragms. And with each
bass driver radiating from its own dedicated enclosure to avoid
the distorting effects of vertical standing waves that tall
cabinets usually suffer from, you experience noticeably clearer,
more open bass. As you would expect from a handmade KEF product,
build quality is as outstanding as the specification of each
individual component. Carefully graded and soldered by hand,
KEF's own oxygen-free copper cable ensures the best possible
signal transmission, with terminals machined from solid brass
and plated in gold. High order crossovers with advanced
air-cored inductors and polypropylene capacitors ensure
faultlessly smooth integration. For optimum performance in real
rooms, all models accommodate tri-wiring and are fitted with a
boundary control device to adjust bass response
according to speaker positioning and the acoustics of the
listening area. Magnetic shielding ensures trouble-free
positioning in home theatre applications. Engineered from
laminated birch ply using KEF's own internal bracing system, the
new curved section cabinets are elegantly profiled to minimise
colouration and finished in a choice of hand-matched hardwood
veneers. More than ever before, these are very special speakers

vented to reduce acoustic pressure behind the braced compound dome and the voice

stars don’t come more charismatic than this: eloquent, engrossing and
disarmingly natural. Together with breathtaking sonic accuracy and spatial
precision, these are the qualities a great centre channel speaker aspires to -
and Model 204/2c has them all.Dialogue and vocals acquire spine-tingling
immediacy and on-screen action becomes astonishingly real. Tosca or Tarantino,
it’s an addictive experience.With a quartet of ultra-low distortion 165mm (6.5

with the sensitivity to articulate all the subtleties in the soundtrack.
Transitions are seamless, thanks partly to the bass array being progressively
filtered so that the two outer woofers roll off before the inner pair.Naturally,
performance can be fine-tuned for your room acoustics. The KEF Uni Balance

tell where the sound originates- everyone in the room experiences the same
accurate, all-enveloping sound image.Uni-Q driver arrayThe new Uni-Q® array is
so perfectly attuned to reproducing the human voice that vocals acquire
previously unheard-of definition. The improved balance between direct sound,

Typical wireless
systems use just one frequency or channel to transmit the radio signal.
Unfortunately this frequency is very similar to many household appliances such
as microwaves, mobile phones and wireless Internet routers, which can interfere
with the transmitted sound signal causing unwanted dropout of sound and
distortion. KEF’s wireless system is different. With its revolutionary new
transmission technologies constantly monitoring and adjusting for interference,
high-quality wireless sound is ensured, all the time. KEF have developed
innovative new technologies to deliver high-quality wireless audio, while at the
same time avoiding signal interference. A narrow signal band is used that is
sufficient enough for high-quality audio transmission yet perfect for finding a
path through the congested environment of a home filled with potentially
conflicting devices. This narrow band is a feature of HFADPCM (High Fidelity
Adaptive Differential Pulse Code Modulation), and along with advanced error
correction technology ensures an exceptionally robust delivery of CD-quality
audio between the transmitter and receivers The system detects other
transmitters in the 2.4GHz frequency band - such as cordless phones, Wi-Fi
routers and microwave ovens - then 'hops' out of the way of potentially
conflicting signals. With this technology know as AFHSS (Advanced Frequency
Hopping Spread Spectrum), a processor constantly monitors several channels at a
time and continually switches to the strongest available to ensure a pure signal.
It's all done in milliseconds so you don't notice it's happening: so nothing
gets in the way of your enjoyment.
rendono questi sistemi inseribili in qualunque ambiente. Basi opzionali
I rinforzi radiali,
dedicato particolare attenzione a questi aspetti.
satelliti. Grazie all'intelligente funzionalità 'connect and go', collegarlo al
posizionamento in ambiente risulta facilitato.
Diffusori e canale centrale tecnologia Kef ACE - silver
prestazioni siano molto buone. Proprio come nel caso del KHT6000 ACE. Progettato
difficile, ovviamente, rendersi conto di tanta raffinatezza dopo pochi minuti;

risposta in bassa frequenza accuratamente controllata.Grazie all'incremento
piacere.

installed loudspeakers. The 165mm (6.5in.) Uni-Q® driver array brings out the

CiFDT
A motorised dipole surround sound speaker, the CiFDT combines genuinely
unobtrusive installation with the ability to create stunningly realistic
background effects. Lying flush with the wall when not in use, a sophisticated
flat panel driver moves into position when switched on, radiating higher
frequencies equally front and back to diffuse the sound evenly throughout the
room, while low frequency effects are being faithfully reproduced by the
integral 130mm (5in.) bass driver. Acoustically, the two technologies complement
each other perfectly to generate a richly detailed ambient soundfield;
aesthetically, the appearance couldn’t be more discreet. As an architectural
audio solution, it’s imaginative, impeccably engineered and incredibly
satisfying. CiFDT Features and Benefits Purpose built for flush
mounting into walls, the CiFDT combines 100W power handling and 86dB sensitivity.
