La
Rotel rinnova completamente la parte entry-level del catalogo, proponendo la
nuova serie 06 SE in sostituzione della 06, considerata una tra le migliori in
commercio in quanto a rapporto qualità/prezzo. Il look-feeling è lo stesso della
precedente serie, se non per l’aggiunta della scritta “special edition”. Le vere
novità sono contenute all’interno di tutti i nuovi apparecchi, completamente
riprogettati traendo spunto dalla neonata serie 15 e in grado di garantire una
qualità audio elevatissima in rapporto al prezzo. Tutti ovviamente adottano la
oramai affermata “Rotel Balanced Concept Design” filosofia tesa al
raggiungimento delle massime prestazioni sonore. Cavallo di battaglia della
nuova serie è l’integrato l’RA-06 SE, un 70WX2 canali su 8 ohm molto curato dal
punto di vista progettuale e che utilizza componenti altamente selezionati. Un
ingresso Phono MM performante in dotazione, sdoppiamento pre-finale per
collegare un amplificatore di potenza esterno, e un lay-out circuitale curato al
fine di evitare possibili degradi del segnale sono solo parte delle alchimie
messe in campo dal grande costruttore. L’RA-06 è poi dotato di telecomando per
tutte le funzioni in grado di pilotare anche altri apparati Rotel, e di uscite
trigger-out per il pilotaggio di dispositivi esterni. A completare la gamma di
integrati low-cost ad alte prestazioni scendono in pista l’RA-05 SE e l’RA-04
SE, che tra di loro condividono uguali caratteristiche elettriche ad eccezione
del telecomando, presente solo nel modello RA-05. 2X40W su 8 ohm la potenza di
targa dichiarata con sezione di preamplificazione uguale a quella del “cugino
ricco” RA-06; sarà pertanto possibile, per esempio, grazie allo sdoppiamento
pre-finale, applicare in un secondo momento un amplificatore di potenza esterno.
Non potevano poi mancare delle sorgenti di qualità adeguata. Si chiama RCD-06 SE
il nuovo lettore di CD della serie ’06, dotato di meccanica di elevato livello e
di un convertitore Wolfson di nuova concezione a 24 bit/96 kHz con
sovracampionamento ottuplo. Le sezioni di alimentazione sono separate per la
parte analogica e digitale, e sono in numero di 4 completamente indipendenti,
vengono poi utilizzati tutti componenti passivi selezionati e di alto livello.
Annunciato, ma non ancora disponibile, il sintonizzatore, che si chiamerà RT-09
SE e che avrà numerose funzioni accessorie legate alla connettività di rete. Non
“confermati”, invece, nel nuovo corso “SE”, i preamplificatore RC-06 e il finale
RB-06 che escono definitivamente fuori dalla scena

Rotel’s
new RB-1072, a 100 watt per channel stereo power amplifier is based upon the
much-heralded Class D switching platforms of the RMB-1077, RB-1092 and RB-1091
amplifiers. Thanks to its innovative design, it can be placed in
space-restricted installations without fear of performance degradation. The
RB-1072 needs little ventilation and runs relatively cool even under demanding
operating conditions, compared to conventional amplifier designs. Although
compact in size at only 2-3/8” high, there is nothing small about this amplifier.

RMB-1048 is the perfect solution for a wide range of audio applications. It is
able to deliver in excess of 8 x 40 watts per channel into 8 ohms (65 watts into
4 ohms). Use one amplifier to provide music to four stereo pairs, or eight
