Il Vantage HD 8000S ha 3 porte USB per collegare due dispositivi di archiviazione esterni (Hard Disk), e uno per trasferimento dati a PC, una porta Ethernet. La porta Sata è stata utilizzata per il collegamento di un Hard Disk Sata interno. Il pannello frontale del decoder, è privo di tasti, accendendo il ricevitore si illumina con una grafica blu.
