Anthony Gallo was born in 1963. From an early
age, he had an interest in the sciences and would take apart just about
everything he could get his hands on. At around age 13, he began to become
hooked on loudspeaker design. His first audio experiments, conducted at the
tender age of 14, were with electrostatics. "I got shocked a zillion times,"
Anthony recalls. "I was always awed by electrostatics' transparency and purity.
The dynamics, however, were always short of my expectations."Subsequent experiments with ribbon drivers proved difficult to drive and limited
in dynamic range. However, Anthony's search for the "Holy Grail of tweeters"
took a dramatic turn when he discovered a magazine article about Piezo film in
the early 1980s. "I threw the magazine aside for a few years," he says, "but in
the back of my mind I knew that I would work with this material some day." After
a few years of experimentation, the first version of Anthony's CDT™ (cylindrical
diaphragm transducer) was born in 1987. Further refining the CDT design over the
better part of the next decade, Anthony came to the realization that he was onto
something special, and decided to pursue his dream of designing and
manufacturing loudspeakers full-time. Anthony Gallo Acoustics was born. The first
fruits of the new venture appeared in the form of the original Nucleus™ hi fi
loudspeakers, which utilized state-of-the-art wooden cabinet technologies and
weighed in at over 300 pounds per channel. Although the speaker boasted
incredible sound quality, it was deemed too expensive and impractical. However,
it was a necessary step in the evolution process of Anthony's loudspeaker
design, and led directly to the two key products that would kick the company's
success into a higher gear, the Nucleus Solo™ and The Nucleus Reference™.
Joining soon thereafter with Don Fried, who provided key financial backing and
took the reigns as CEO, Anthony Gallo Acoustics shifted its focus to the
audiophile community and ascended toward becoming a major player in consumer
electronics. Audiophiles worldwide soon began to passionately seek out the
Nucleus Solo and Reference.Next, the company turned its attention to producing
an affordable, ultra-compact home theater system. The company's spherical
technology, which provided the ability to obtain high output from small cabinets
with no coloration, led to the development of the ultra-successful 4" Nucleus
Micro™. And, as they say, the rest is history.Today, Anthony Gallo Acoustics
offers a complete line of loudspeakers and accessories, which are sold in over
40 countries worldwide. With the help of a team of diligent, loyal employees,

Long-awaited
"Big Brother" to our acclaimed Reference 3.1, the Reference 5LS builds upon its
smaller sibling's considerable strengths, achieving even greater performance in
virtually every aspect of sound quality. Measuring 78 inches tall, this all-new
loudspeaker is the closest any line source has ever come to being
omni-directional. The Reference 5LS spans the gamut of frequency and dynamic
range, yet its slender 7" width and 11" depth enable it to excel in virtually
any listening room and blend beautifully into most decorating schemes.Reference
5LS is the culmination of everything Anthony Gallo has learned so far in a
lifetime of speaker design. At the cornerstone of the Reference 5LS'
standards-setting performance is our patented CDT II™ tweeter, whose
power-handling, off-axis response and efficiency approach the textbook
definition of ideal. Midrange drivers employ Gallo's spherical enclosure
technology, which virtually eliminates enclosure resonance and diffraction while
enabling a broad 300-degree dispersion. The 5LS is also the world's first
speaker to use multiple CDT II™ tweeters. To form the line array, Gallo deploys
seven CDT II™s and eight 4" carbon fiber midrange drivers, each housed in its
own 5" spherical enclosure.Although most line sources must horizontally offset
their various drivers, the Reference 5LS alternates tweeter cylinders with
midrange spheres, one atop the other, in perfect vertical alignment. As a result,
the phase and dispersion problems caused by driver offset are entirely
eliminated. Twelve aluminium, rear-firing 4" subwoofer drivers equal the surface
area of a 15" driver, but reproduce bass with a speed and transparency that no
large driver can approach. The tubular stainless steel bass enclosure is stuffed
with Gallo's patented S2 Technology, which further enhances the quality and
quantity of low-frequency output.Capable of being driven by a single, capable
amplifier, the 5LS offers the options of bi- or tri-wiring, as well as bi- or
tri-amping. Although able to handle massive power, the crossover-free design and
high efficiency of both the CDT II™ tweeters and carbon-fiber midrange drivers
are perfect matches for low-powered, high-performance amplifiers. The
first-order low-pass filter used for the bass drivers (the ONLY crossover
employed in the 5LS!) can be bypassed, enabling the LF enclosure to be driven
from the LFE output of a processor, or from a separate amplifier. Gallo's
(optional) Reference SA amplifier, which features volume, phase and crossover
adjustments, is ideal for this application, as the speaker can be placed for
optimal imaging and soundstaging performance and then fine-tuned for bass using
the SA's control facilities.Whether judged in terms of its output capabilities,
spatial performance, aesthetic appeal or system and room compatibility, Gallo's
new Reference 5LS is a triumph of design and engineering innovation.

SERIE SATELLITE
Our line of satellite speaker products, which features
our 5" A'Diva series, 4" Nucleus Micro series and the Due multimedia loudspeaker,
pack a wallop that has to be heard to be believed.
The smallest loudspeaker offering from Anthony Gallo
Acoustics, the 4" Nucleus Micro series packs a lot of punch. The Micro
series, which consists of the all-new
Nucleus Micro Ti and the original
Nucleus Micro loudspeaker,
is far and away the best price/ performance value on the market today. Available
in a variety of colors and a number of installation options, Micro speakers are
designed to blend beautifully into any home or office decor.
The new
Nucleus Micro Ti loudspeaker offers the same
patented technology and brilliantly understated look and feel of the original
Nucleus Micro, but with the addition of a titanium driver that adds more
dimension to high frequencies. The end result? More power handling, clarity and
neutrality than you'd ever expect from a speaker that's this size -- and this

The 5" all-metal A'Diva loudspeaker builds upon the
design refinements of our best-selling stereo/surround speaker, the Nucleus
Micro. Thanks to its low distortion and incredibly coherent sound, the highly
adaptable A'Diva can be used in just about any application, including two
channel stereo, home theater, multimedia, multi-room and custom installations.Following
the success of the landmark Reference 3, Anthony Gallo re-visited the classic
A'Diva design with the goal of re-engineering its performance to approach that
of the flagship loudspeaker. The outcome is the new A'Diva Ti.Designed for the
music and movie lover who wants the ultimate in ultra-compact speaker
performance, the A'Diva Ti is an even better-sounding version of the original
A'Diva, featuring an all-new Titanium driver. This driver is exceptionally
strong but has a low mass, giving the most demanding of listeners the best of
all worlds – a highly sensitive, extremely robust and wonderfully pure sounding
driver.Like the original A'Diva, the A'Diva Ti has the ability to go low enough
to be used without a dedicated subwoofer, and can be used in a range of
configurations depending on the design of your room. For sound enthusiasts
without the space or the inclination to house a much larger design, there really
is no better sounding speaker.
Technology...The key to the performance of the Micro Ti and A'Diva Ti is our
all-new full-range 3" Titanium Driver. The driver itself is made up of three key
elements. First of all there's the Titanium cone that is exceptionally rigid,
but has a relatively low mass – a combination that is key to loudspeaker
sensitivity. It's also 75% stronger than the one found in the original Micro and
A'Diva and offers increased treble extension and power handling. The cone itself
is dampened with paper, the fibres of which smoothen response and provide a
natural sound quality and ensure that no spurious resonances are present. Finally,
the driver features a larger 1-inch voice coil, powered by an extremely
efficient, oversized Neodymium magnet, the combination of which significantly
reduces distortion and increases dynamic range.

Strada
builds on the successful design blueprint of our Dué AV loudspeaker. Think of
Strada as Dué’s slightly bigger, beefier brother. Based around two 5" sperical
mid-range encolsures as used in our class-leading A'Diva satellite speaker range.Strada
harnesses the extraordinary midrange and top-end performance of the
award-winning Reference 3 system. Impressive power handling, 89dB sensitivity,
80Hz-40kHz frequency response and textbook perfect dispersion enable this
magnetically shielded speaker to shine in any room, and with any
system.Available in two tweeter configurations to maximumise treble coverage
based on your specific installation requirements.
Designed
for those who require the ultimate in audio reproduction from a small,
wall-mountable speaker.
A speaker so versatile it delivers uncompromising sound quality in every
installation. Whether wall-mounted or freestanding, Dué delivers a quality and
quantity of sound that no other speaker of its size and price can match.Dué's
diminutive dimensions and good looks provide a visual complement to plasma
displays and other pieces of attractive audio visual equipment, while
architectural sconce-shaped grilles enable Dué to blend into the ambient
environment if required.Dué is available in a choice of black, white and silver
powder coated finishes.Custom installation is a breeze, thanks to an ingenious
bracket that enables Dué to work anywhere. Whether hidden on a shelf, supported
by dedicated floor stands, flush-mounted to a wall and oriented either
horizontally or vertically, Dué excels where others fail.Barely 11" (28cm) tall
and 5" (13cm) wide, Dué benefits from patented and proprietary technologies
developed by Anthony Gallo for our award winning series of loudspeakers. Based
on the best-selling Nucleus Micro, each Dué is comprised of two of these
spherically-shaped 4" speakers separated by a patented CDT™ tweeter.Dué boasts
the extraordinary midrange purity of the Micro, combined with the most natural
and extended trebles of any speaker on the market. Impressive power handling,
89dB sensitivity, 80Hz-40kHz frequency response and textbook perfect dispersion
enable this magnetically shielded speaker to shine in any room, and with any
system.Dué employs our remarkable CDT™ tweeter – widely acclaimed as the finest
high frequency driver available. The performance benefits of CDT™ technology are
dramatic. With more diaphragm area than two dozen 1" dome tweeters, our
transducer has virtually unlimited output capability. At the same time, the lack
of voice coils, coil-formers and surrounds means the CDT™ has a very low moving
mass, so it can respond more quickly to high frequency transients. Finally, its
cylindrical shape endows the CDT™ with a dispersion pattern of 180 degrees and
delivers the same response off-axis as it does on-axis. For the music lover and
the video enthusiast, this wide dispersion means that perfect imaging is not
limited to a small "sweet spot".Frequency Response: 80Hz to 40Khz Sensitivity:

5.1 Home Theater Systems
An entire 5.1 home theater solution in a single box,

five A'Diva Ti, A'Diva, Micro Ti or Nucleus Micro satellite loudspeakers.
All
three of our 'mainstream' loudspeakers – the Nucleus Micro, A'Diva and Dué –
share common design elements, performance characteristics and proprietary
technologies. These factors allow the user to easily mix and match Gallo speaker
products in a home cinema set-up, depending on application and/or budget. For
example, all three use a version of our superb 3-inch driver unit, all have 100
Watts power handling and all three have a nominal impedance of 8 Ohms. This
means that any combination of elements are possible. The A'Diva makes a perfect
centre channel speaker in a Nucleus Micro system. The A'Diva or Nucleus Micro
makes an ideal rear channel speaker in a Due home cinema system.Uniquely, our
speakers can each be purchased individually and colours can be mixed and matched
(even within a single system). This flexibility takes the strain out of
assembling a multi-channel home cinema and allows the user to easily configure a
system for DTS ES or Dolby Digital EX if required. No doubt about it, if you've
heard a good home cinema system... you want one! Unfortunately, finding space in
your listening room for five speakers (or even six or seven), plus a subwoofer,
poses some serious interior design challenges. For this reason, a Nucleus Micro,
A'Diva or Dué home cinema set-up (or a combination of the three) simply has no
equal.Given their tiny dimensions, placement flexibility and wide range of
colours and textures, there's a Gallo loudspeaker to fit every application and
colour scheme.Add the bass wallop of our installation-friendly MPS-150 powered
subwoofer and every seat in your listening room becomes the best seat in the

MPS–150
is our original, highly acclaimed, powered subwoofer. It is the perfect
companion for our Nucleus Micro, A'Diva and Dué loudspeakers. The MPS 150 is a
unique two-piece design giving 150 watts of tight, coherent, precise bass. This
versatile design allows the amplifier and subwoofer sections to be positioned
together or located separately – and they can be placed with the rest of your
equipment or hidden away as desired. With the MPS 150 even explosions have
texture – and because we expect you to use your subwoofer for music as well as
for home cinema, we used the highest quality woofer we could find. In fact, we
had this one jointly developed with Peerless of Denmark to work synergistically
with our patented S2 technology. The result is a subwoofer that slams out tight,
coherent, precise BASS - without ever being over-powering.Unlike many other
manufacturers, we use the most conservative method when quoting power ratings
for our speakers. MPS–150's 150 Watt rating is for continuous RMS – this means a
continuous output, all day long, of 150 Watts. The unit uses a large, heavy
power supply and very high quality components. Measuring by peak RMS, our amp
would easily pass for a 300 Watt amplifier. Better parts will deliver a better
cinema experienceThe woofer, or piston driver / cone, is the heart of any
speaker design. Still, most manufacturers, especially at mass market system
costs (£1,500 and under), use the least cost driver approach. They spend as
little as they can. Most manufacturers do not pay much attention to detail or
articulation in their subwoofers. They design their subs to be sound effects
generators. It is for this reason that most sound terrible when you try to
listen to music. They may hide their deficiencies if all they have to do is go
boom, crash, bang - just don't ask them to make that bass drum sound tight or a
jazz trio sound lifelike. We believe that even explosions have texture. A better
sounding speaker will give you better sounding effects. Why should we not be
able to hear all the detail and not just some muddy, boomy, boxy sounding crash.
Since we expect you to be able to use our sub for music and not just cinema
sound effects, we use the highest quality woofer we could find. In fact, we had
this one developed to work synergistically with our patented S2 technology. To
call it heavy duty is an understatement. Weighing in at a hefty 15 pounds you
are not likely to find one anywhere near this parts quality in a subwoofer
costing less than one thousand dollars.Running two subs is easy! Plus: No power
cord, how can this be?Flexibility is not something normally associated with
subwoofers. Typically you try your best to hide the ugly thing in a corner or
under a plant and sacrifice getting at the controls or finding the optimal room
positioning. The MPS 150 allows you to remove the amplifier module and place it
with the rest of your equipment while having to hide only a very small woofer
housing. Our sub can be made small enough to actually fit under a couch or other
pieces of furniture. It can do this while still having the output normally
associated with subwoofers many times this size. More importantly, only the
audio signal via a single wire needs to get to the sub. No power cord is
involved and thus you are not limited by outlet location for your positioning!Even
though bass is omni-directional and subwoofers can be placed almost anywhere,
that does not mean you are getting optimal performance. In the real World, most
positions will have some drawback, either sonically or in compromising your
decor. The best way to remove the decor compromise is to use a beautiful product.
The best way to eliminate sonic compromise is to use two subs. Two subs gives
you the ability to eliminate standing waves and other sonic problems while
dramatically increasing bass output. We made it easy for you, and less expensive.
Why purchase two subs when you can run two bass modules with one amplifier?Frequency

Anthony Gallo Acoustics TR-1 is a high-output, high performance active subwoofer
with a Class A/B high-current amplifier and integral bass equalizer of up to 3dB
of low bass boost. The cylindrical enclosure mirrors the spherical technology of
our Nucleus Series but provides larger internal air volumes and a flat rear
panel for the controls. The TR-1 uses the same long-throw custom 10" woofer as
used in our Reference 3 and the same enclosure as the TR-2. It differs from the
TR-2 by using a lower-powered 100-watt amp (the TR-2 uses a 250-watt amp) and
providing +3dB rather than max +6dB of bass boost. The rear panel provides low-
and high-level inputs and outputs, continuously variable phase and low pass

The
Anthony Gallo Acoustics TR-2 is small, high-output, high performance active
subwoofer housed in a chassis of superior strength yet minimal mass. The
cylindrical enclosure mirrors the spherical technology of our Nucleus Series
speakers but provides larger internal air volumes and a flat rear panel for the
controls.We use a superior long-throw custom 10" custom woofer and a
high-current 250-watt amplifier with an integral bass equalizer of up to 6dB of
low bass boost. The TR-2 offers 0, +3 and +6dB bass equalization settings to
become uniquely adaptable to room size. A small room probably won’t require any
boost. A large one might benefit from full boost. You're in control. Also, you
no longer need to update your subwoofer when it comes time to move into larger
quarters, simply change the EQ setting. The TR-2 is no mere boom box. Remember
the cylindrical enclosure – it's not a box at all. It therefore does not suffer
from the common cabinet resonances of rectangular sub boxes. That's why it doesn't
exhibit the usual smear, fuzz and uncontrolled muddiness of other, inferior
subwoofers. The air trapped inside the box becomes the restoring force that
prevents woofer overshoot and maximizes self-damping.TR-2 versus TR-1 The TR-2
has the same driver and enclosure as the TR-1. It differs from the TR-1 in two
important aspects: power and boost. The TR-2 increases the TR-1’s 100 watts to
250 watts, while EQ power grows from ?3 /0 /+3dB to 0 /+3 / +6dB. While they
offer the same quality of sound yet output – the TR-2 is able to accommodate
rooms of different sizes. The TR-2 is available in Silver or Black.Frequency
