optical drive system and powerful DSP-based decoder that allows for full
implementation of all available Red Book error-correction capabilities -- a
clear advantage over earlier decoding strategies. These advances further
facilitate master-clock control of the entire audio decoding system, thus
lowering jitter significantly. The transport runs at a single speed in order to
minimize the impact of unbalanced discs and vibration. A high-performance DAC
and sophisticated analog output circuit handle the final decoding. As an
attractive ergonomic feature, a touch-sensitive strip controls the CDP-8, thus
avoiding the need for mechanical switches or push-buttons. The included remote
integrates volume and input functions for use with NuForce’s preamp and

IA-7 V3 is an integrated stereo amplifier with remote control. Because the IA-7
V3 shares the same circuit board as our Reference Series amplifiers, it offers
exemplary performance at a most attractive price. The unit is housed in a black
or silver sand-blasted anodized aluminum case. We provide control knobs in black
and silver for user mixing-and-matching.Heat Dissipation: In order to achieve
superior heat dissipation, the IA-7 V3’s internal amplifier board has been
designed to conduct heat directly to the top cover instead of the bottom
chassis, which is why the IA-7 V3’s top cover will be hotter to the touch than
other parts of the chassis. After prolonged use, the IA-7 V3 top cover's
temperature can reach 54 degree C. This is not a problem. To the contrary, the
design provides the internal components with longer-term reliability.
P-9
Preampliflier THD+N = 0.0004% @ 1kHz and a power bandwidth of 5MHz. Near perfect
reproduction of 125kHz square wave. Housed in two chassis, the low-noise,
high-performance Nuforce P-9 premaplifier is a breakthrough product. One chassis
contains three power supplies and microprocessor control logic; the second
chassis contains an analog volume control, input selection relays, and sensitive
analog circuit components. Externally, the dual P-9 chassis are a stylistically
consonant match to the NuForce Ref 9 Series power amplifiers. The P-9’s ‘Dual
Drive’ volume mechanism can be controlled either by a custom-designed,
full-function remote interfacing with a digital volume control or by the manual
Alps volume pot. A microprocessor control drives the high-performance Alps
motorized pot in the analog chassis. A communication protocol constantly senses
and feeds back the volume level to the microprocessor to sync-up the level
settings on the digital volume indicator and Alps volume pot. Primarily for
convenience, the digital volume control acts as an interface to the remote
control. The volume control is ultimately analog based. As an additional
convenience, memory stores the last-used input selection and volume level. The
heart of the P-9 boasts an all-discrete, precision-operational amplifier module.
To reduce capacitive loading on the final voltage amp, the design incorporates
ultra-low-noise, monolithic dual JFETs, specially selected VMOS FETs and
extremely flat hFE bipolar transistors in a dual cascode configuration with a
driven shield. All this is necessary to achieve a 5MHz power bandwidth, a S/N
ratio exceeding 100dB, with better than 120 dB of dynamic range. The inherently
stable P-9 gain circuit has no capacitors or DC-servos in the signal path. Much
attention has been paid to isolation. The amp modules are seated within heavy
copper shields with internal thermal insulation to prevent thermal drift or
signal-related heating capable of interfering with the preamp’s operation. Each
amp module has a self-contained shunt regulator to increase its isolation from
the power supplies. A separate, isolated, floating-current source supply feeds
each module to insure further isolation from noise in the ground system. The
control system sends DC to the relays and the potentiometer’s motor only. No
logic circuitry with its clocks and fast edges introduces noise into the analog
section’s sensitive, low-level signals. While providing the custom-designed
remote control’s exemplary convenience, the preamp’s overall isolation results
in an extremely low noise floor. For audiophiles who want to integrate a home
theater system into an uncompromising audio system, the P-9 incorporates a
unique bypass system that connects the power amps for the main speakers directly
to the AV processor or AV receiver amp, thus allowing for a seamless transition
from the most demanding audiophile performance to THX multi-channel surround
with bass management. Better still, this feature can be activated by a 12V
trigger enabling integration without the need for manual intervention. All
that’s needed is a processor or receiver’s 12V trigger receptor. Specifications:

Advancements in technology will never render NuForce mono amps obsolete.Analog Switching AmplifierTM
Technology NuForce™ Analog Switching Amplifier technology is built on the
principle that a power oscillator can be modulated by an audio signal so that it
produces the amplified audio signal via a reconstruction filter without the
bandwidth limitation of a conventional, fixed-frequency, carrier-based PWM
control. Our design employs a high-performance analog modulation technique and
closed-loop control system, which is why we refer to our product as an Analog
Switching Amplifier.NuForce believes that uncompromised and uncompromising music
reproduction requires the following:High Bandwidth Our Analog Switching
Amplifier produces a ruler-flat response from 20 to 50,000 Hz. Only a handful of
very expensive linear amplifiers can boast that kind of bandwidth. Indeed, many
linear and digital switching designs fall short of a 20-25,000Hz bandwidth.Low
Distortion The majority of today's amplifiers claim less than 0.1% Total
Harmonic Distortion (THD). It’s important to note, however, that the seemingly
low figure is normally achieved when measured at 1W using a 1000Hz sine wave. At
full power, these distortion figures can be as much as 100 times greater, and as
frequencies rise, distortion increases further still. NuForce's patented and
patent-pending technologies cancel distortion at every aspect of operation. Our
Analog Switching Amplifier boasts vanishingly low distortion characteristics
whatever the output power level or audio frequency.Unique close-loop design
Rather than a sawtooth waveform to achieve modulation, our Analog Switching
Amplifier employs a proprietary, naturally occurring modulating signal that does
not add noise to the system, nor does it suffer from the 180-degree phase shift
an output filter characteristically produces. Our high-bandwidth and closed-loop
system provide a high gain with frequency of up to 1MHz, thus greatly
diminishing non-linearities. We achieve an operating power bandwidth as high as
100kHz, while maintaining consistently low distortion across the frequency
spectrum.Near Zero Phase ShiftPhase shift produces inaccuracies, particularly
with respect to spatial information. Most amps produce phase shifts of greater
than 45 degrees at 20kHz, approaching 90 degrees as frequency rises. Nuforce
amps exhibit close to zero phase shift at all frequencies.Damping FactorTo
compute an amplifier’s damping factor, a reference input signal is applied to
output voltages without load (Vno-load) and with an 8-ohm speaker load (Vload).
Damping Factor = Vno-load / (Vno-load – Vload). The industry standard has its
problems. We see a critical need for our closed-loop response to include the
speaker load for the PWM switching oscillation to have relevance. Output without
load tells us nothing. We measure output with an internal 100-ohm Zobel network.
Using the industry’s measurement method, we get a Vload almost identical to or
slightly higher than a Vno-load at the filtered MOSFET output, i.e., an infinite
damping factor.Since Nuforce requires a closed-loop response to oscillate for
the PWM controller to function, and the closed-loop transfer function changes
with loads, NuForce technology renders conventional damping-factor measurements
irrelevant. In order to suppress RF noise, speaker lead-out wires serving as
high-frequency common-mode chokes are added to the circuit board. When a NuForce
amp’s damping factor is taken at a speaker’s terminals, the number is 160,
reflecting the wiring’s impedance and that of the output chokes.

used in less than the most revealing systems, the SE's advantages may not be
fully realized. As excellent as the Ref 9 V3 is, the Ref 9 V3SE takes its
strengths to an even higher level. These include:Sweeter highs, without any
compromise in frequency extension. A smoother and more palpable midrange, while
preserving the natural harmonic structure for which the Ref 9 V3 is famous. The

more coherent and deeper. In summary, the SE's sound is more neutral and liquid,
with a more relaxed yet powerful soundstage presentation. Specifications:

I finali monofonici
miglioramento. I circuiti "input-stage","solid-state" e i componenti passivi
(fine) audiofilo.

With its new MCH Home Theater
Series NuForce has raised the bar for all multi channel amplifiers in the "State
of the Art" category. Never before has so much technology and power fit into a
slim chassis no more than 3.5 inches high.
This amplifier is based on technology used in the Reference 9 series, and is a
superb partner for both home theater and Stereo use.Inside the chassis there are
three to seven V2 boards (depending on model), a number of capacitor boards and
two separate power supplies. This makes for extreme dynamics, superb deep and
controlled bass and extremely detailed sonics. In difference from usual
multichannel amplifiers that consumes a lot of power even when no signal is
present, the MCH series delivers power only when and where it is needed. On the
front panel it is also possible to switch on and off channels at your wish. All
MCH series amplifiers have RCA and XLR connectors that can be level-trimmed for
perfekt channel matching. The design also enables bi-amping as long as the
crosover of the speakers are designed for it.Model: MCH-2 Finish: Black/Black ,

Nuforce MCH-3 has like its
bigger brother seven individual amplifier modules with V2 technology. The power
is the same as the SE model delivering seven times 300 watts in 4ohm. The
difference lies in a simpler capacity board and a little less expensive interior
components. Also MCH3 has buttons on its frontpanel instead of a remote control
to activate or deactivate separate channels. As with other V2 amplifiers the
MCH3 excells in dynamics, bass and micro details unmatched by any amplifier on
the market. The very same switching powersupply is used in MCH3 to deliver
optimum power on demand. As with the MCH3SE the MCH3 is equipped with both XLR

its new MCH Home Theater Series NuForce has raised the bar for all multi channel
amplifiers in the "State of the Art" category. Never before has so much
technology and power fit into a slim chassis no more than 3.5 inches high. This
amplifier is based on technology used in the Reference 9 special edition series,
and is a superb partner for both home theater and Stereo use.Inside the chassis
there are seven V2 SE boards, two SE capacitor boards and two Reference 9SE
power supplies. This makes for extreme dynamics, superb deep and controlledbass
and extremely detailed sonics. In difference from usual multichannel amplifiers
that consumes a lot of power even when no signal is present, the MCH series
deliverspower only when and where it is needed. With the remote control it is
also possible to switch on and off channels at your wish. All MCH series amplifiers have RCA and XLR connectors that can be level-trimmed
for perfekt channel matching. The design also enables bi-amping as long as the
crosover ofthe speakers are designed for it.Model: MCH-3 Finish: Black/Black ,

The technology behind the
Nuforce S-9 speaker rests on the premise that true high-fidelity performance
should be based on solid engineering principles that likewise strive to achieve
the highest degree of value. In order to reach these goals, it became obvious
that we would need to depart from traditional methodologies. The S-9 speaker, the
result of a most productive collaboration with SP Technology Loudspeakers, Inc.,
is poised to establish a new reference at a remarkably reasonable price. The
cabinet is made of 23 layers of birchplywood in a stacked configuration. Each
layer is precision cut with CNC cutters. This technology createes an extremely
rigid and resonance free chassis. Inside the chassis there are specially
constructed chambers to prevent standing waves. On top of this extreme cabinet
design there are numerous patented solutions, like the tweeter/midrange
waveguide construction, custom designed woofers and external crossover to name a
few. These solutions make for a speaker that is extremely correct in timing and
phase.S-9 offers HiFi performance hard to find in speakers twice its cost. It
sets a new standard for what is possible to achive with a monitor speaker.Model:

NE-7M earphones With iPhone compatible microphone The all new range of NuForce
Sound Isolating Earphones are now available for sale in the UK. With testing
ongoing since just before Christmas we have had a good chance over the holidays
to do some serious listening. We are impressed NuForce! The NuForce NE-7m's are
"in ear" earplug type earphones with high performance microphone. Coming with a
variety of different size interchangeable ear canal seals, we have got these to
fit in all the ears we have tried so far.Designed to be used as either a
standard earplug / earphones off a music player, these have an additional
feature This is in the shape of an Iphone compatible microphone. Using the
standard 3.5mm jack the NE-7m will allow you to use the iPhone with its call
answering button when needed, but also as a serious music source, as well as
without changing headset, a phone, or a skype phone.Couple these with the new
Icon Mobile usb dac, headphone amp, and you have a superb sounding upgrade to a
traditional iPod, when using the doc out of course. We have seen many different
doc cables most of which are good.Sound quality is, in our ears at least, very
good indeed with plenty of air and pace apparent and a real sound stage forming.
The lows are surprisingly good at very sensible levels and distortion at volume
wasn't apparent. Although we haven't pushed the envelop as we respect our ears
and want to keep using them. Playback was with either Apple Lossless or WAV
files on a 6th Gen iPod Classic, iPhone and Sony Walkman A818. These have been
in either native output mode, or where possible using the line out feature into
a variety of headphone amplifiers, from the GSP Voyager, NuForce Icon Mobile,
and GSP Solo SRG. All worked beautifully.Technical Specification NuForce

NE-8 Earphones High Performance Earplug Earphones The all new range of NuForce
Sound Isolating Earphones are now available for sale in the UK. With our
extensive testing ongoing since just before christmas 2008 we have had a good
chance over the christmas holidays to do some serious listening and evaluating.
We are impressed NuForce! very well done. The NE-8 sound isolating earphones are
the top specification currently on offer and wow are they good. First tried in
the new iPod Nano, then through a list of various makes of portable players, as
well as static these have really impressed. With the super fast selling Graham
Slee Solo and Voyager headphone amplifiers, we know what makes a good headphone
sing, and we know a good headphone/earphone. These are just that, a very good
earphone. Priced at a superb £85 these make a fantastic upgrade to any portable
player. With a superb secure carry case for long life, and adjustability in ear
size with the multiple array of sized fitting for the ear plug. We cannot see
why you won't love and cherish these for a long time to come. The musicality of
these earphones cannot be understated, with the power and thrill of a
performance really coming to you when played at sensible volumes, a must for
extended listening. Rather than the higher levels needed by other earphones we
have tried, that will in the long run only damage your ears leaving you with a
costly bill (running maybe into thousands) for hearing aids in the future and
the thought of no enjoyment of music at all.The NE-8 is in our honest opinion
one of the finest headphone/earphones we have had the pleasure to fit and listen
to. So go get a pair now and just hear how good NuForce really is.Technical

Marshal
Royal & Joe Wilder, with Mostly Ellington This album, MOSTLY ELLINGTON (recorded
in 1990), unites Joe Wilder andMarshall Royal in concert for the only time they
ever played together. Their soaring, beautiful front line horn tandem is
augmented by a world class trio: Mike Wofford on piano; Bob Magnusson on bass;
and Roy McCurdy on drums. The line up of songs here featured each horn player in
his own quartet setting for one number along with a series of jazz chestnuts
penned by Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. Recorded direct-to-two-track, this "on
location" album carries stunning musical immediacy and sonic vibrancy.
This double album (DVD Audio
+ CD) inaugurates a collaboration between NuForce Media and BluePort Jazz. Our
joint commitment: to produce great jazz recorded at the highest levels of audio
resolution.
